AVESS is delighted to announce that the Company has been successful in the Government of Western Australia‘s $15m Carbon Innovation Grants Program (CIGP) is part of the WA Government’s $1.25b Climate Action Fund, which aims to reduce the carbon emissions from heavy industry.
AVESS – Australia’s next energy storage solution – stands to receive $469,109 in shared funding from the CIGP. The CIGP will support feasibility studies to enhance the temperature resilience of our VRFBs while supporting the real-world testing of our differentiated stack technology at our upcoming pilot demonstration in the Pilbara region.
CEO & Executive Chairman Young Yu thanked Hon. Reece Whitby MLA, Minister for Climate Action and the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation (DWER) for providing AVESS the opportunity to contribute to WA’s decarbonisation strategy.

The Carbon Innovation Grant will support AVESS to conduct feasibility studies and our pilot demonstration to improve the temperature resilience of our local VRFB, and to further validate our technology,” said Yu.
